Hologram Lables
Today, Holograms are the frontline security feature for protecting products and documents. Hologram printing is done using lasers and not inks and only a hologram manufacturer can produce a security hologram. In the absence of inks, it is not possible to reproduce it by photocopying, scanning, taking a photograph, or standard ink-based printing technologies like offset, rotogravure, flexography, etc. The dynamic and colour-changing features of a hologram printing also defeat duplicators and prevent counterfeiting. However, the hologram technology has undergone a significant change in the last few years. New technologies such as Diffractive Optically Variable Image Devices (DOVID’s) are fast replacing what was earlier commonly and colloquially known as holograms. DOVID technology produces much more sophisticated visual effects that are even easier to identify and difficult to simulate.
Hologram labels are also tamper evident – once affixed at the desired place, any attempt to reuse the hologram label will result in its destruction. Tamper-evident Hologram Labels
We offer holograms with a wide range of tamper sign options – this can be VOID, Checkerboard pattern, Honeycomb pattern and even customised release pattern. Once the hologram is removed, it will leave behind any of these patterns which are a sign to the consumer that the hologram has been tampered with and the product may have been tampered with or worse, may even be a counterfeit.
