Self-Adhesive Labels

Traditional wet-glue labels are fast giving way to self-adhesive labels, which represent the modern era. These labels are basically triple-layered: the face layer with all the branding and statutory information, the adhesive layer at the back of the face and a silicone-coated liner which releases the label for affixation at the desired place.

A self-adhesive label just requires manual or machine application to neatly stick to a surface without bubbles or corner curls. It will also continue to look new through the shelf life of the product, or even longer.

Self-adhesive labels can be affixed to various surfaces, making them a flexible and convenient tool that facilitates branding, authentication and communication.

Compared to the old-fashioned wet glue labels, adhesive labels are technologically advanced, clean, elegant and easy to apply.

Special security design

Our security design software can create complex elements such as guilloche patterns, micro text and hidden images that are visible under only a special decoding film. These can be seamlessly merged with your existing label design.

Holographic patches and stripes

Holography is recognized as a significant security and brand recognition feature. Holographic patches or stripes can be integrated in adhesive labels with state-of-the-art overt, covert and forensic features. We can also add advanced features such as demetallization.

Security printed elements

Printed security features include

a.) Invisible features which are visible only in certain special light frequencies
b.) Elements that change colour with a change in viewing angle
c.) Interactive messages that change colour when rubbed.

Tamper evident substrates

Once affixed, these labels will display a message like Void or Tampered if any attempt is made to remove them. Labels that display the message without leaving any residue on the substrate are also available.

Variable Information

We also offer variable information like alphanumeric sequential numbering, random codes, bar-codes and QR codes on adhesive labels. This significantly enhances the security and provides ease of material tracking. Every single self-adhesive label, thus could actually become unique!

The variable information can be imprinted on an adhesive label using the following technologies:

•Laser Marking
•Ink-Jet Marking
• Ultra-Violet (UV) cured Marking
• Thermal transfer

Additional levels of security are also possible such as invisible codes and numbering and also multi colour and exploding fonts.

From the time we get a customer's Purchase Order and the artwork approval, we can start supplying self-adhesive labels in about 3 weeks, sometimes quicker. For repeat orders, generally, 7 days is what it takes to dispatch the adhesive labels. Please share the project specifics and we will be happy to discuss precise timelines.

Any self-adhesive label printing job is sensitive to quantities –the higher the quantity, the lower the cost. While we will even deliver very small quantities, we suggest that you consolidate 2- or 3-month requirements in order to keep your costs low.
